I am kind of new to modding, and the tutoruial is not very good, could somebody type one up for me that covers more?

anything would apreciated

I used to know how but right now im stuck but when I figure out what the trick is agian I'll see if I can write a complete tutorial...I only do side editing though.. -Odysseus

well no one is going to want to type u out a guide to modding. it would be hundreds of pages long. im completely serious. it all depends on what u want to do. maybe if we knew we could help.

meaby just an guid about how to make an map work, becouse i now know ( for an bit ) how to create an space map but i dont know what to do after i have saved the map ??

all you need to make a map work is to open up VisualMunge.exe and select whatever ttypes u want then name it whatever and hit munge. then you go to the new directory (data_whatever) and run VisualMunge.exe again. thats it. your map is now ingame. to change it you will need to copy odfs and mshs into the world folder and make 2 new folders: odfs and mshs. (place them in the respective folders) then open up zero editor and go to objects and select the objects odf that u want to use then hit place. place it whereever then use the x c and v keys to rotate and move it. then u can replace the units by going to common/scripts and changeing the unit names in your maps lua to other unit names.

I fugured out some of how to mod but I cant get vehicles to spawn when i follow the instructions on the getting started sheet.... i did exactly what the tutorial told me, and I tried it on BF2 and it didnt work... any advice?
