[COLOR=lime]Hi guests or members reading this or staying in touch of this fourm.[/COLOR] I am very grateful for anyone exited for this mod. Unfourtionately there has been alot of confusion about this mod. Due to some communication issues and such it would be simpiler if we did not have a team. Sorry for those whom wanted to join you had your chance and now thats over. [COLOR=red]Now to straighten up some more loose ends.[/COLOR] :bawl:This mod will nolonger be about the empire fighting the clones. Instead i have taken it upon my self to make a mod about StarWars clone Wars T.V series. This means i will be working alone, and making my own 3D models. The models will include the new jedi the new animated clones and will keep getting bigger as Lucas arts makes more episodes of STCW. [COLOR=cyan]Now that i told you what i will be doing, (and i am exited since i will be the first on filefront doing this.)[/COLOR] I would be really thankful if you do not duplicate or use ideas from this Mod. That will make me POed:mad: so lets keep it hush hush? :deal:???? Now i Know you are all exited now but due to communication problems with Icemember this is the date expected to have the first 3 models done. [COLOR=yellow]December 2010[/COLOR] [COLOR=yellow]ok so this is what (at this rate) is expected to be done by this date.[/COLOR] ~Regular trooper animation done along with 6 different skin types. ~ARC trooper model done with 6 different skin types. ~Cadet armour model done with 4 different skin types. ~Eventually this will be for the conversion pack maps (if i am allowed to do that) and then custom maps by me! :cool:??? [COLOR=darkorange]This is only what is expected now but you can help speed the process up.![/COLOR] Anyone that knows how to model 3D and also knows how to insert a pandemic EP2 trooper for a base model that will be edited please tell me on this fourum. You will be included in the credits and have my everlasting greatfulness. [COLOR=magenta]So who is ready to help SWCW T.V series come to battlefront 2!?[/COLOR] [COLOR=gray]This mod is not suported or destributed by Lucas Arts or any company working with them.[/COLOR] [COLOR=navy]Also if you can read this there will be new maps and missions as well as the ones in the T.V series just have a little patience and some info to get this mod moving![/COLOR]

Hmm, do you habe any knowledge with the SWBF2 modding tools? Do you skin? Do you model? If so, Can you post some of your work? Maybe a skin for starters. :)

Icemember i am working on some really good skins like you asked they will be posted. I have run into a slight problem so please bear with me? [COLOR=red]C:\BF2_ModTools\assets\sides\rep\msh[/COLOR] this is where i went to edit my troopers skin. I edited [COLOR=red]rep_inf_ep3trooper[/COLOR] yes it is a tga file. My editing is not done yet but i wanted to make sure that it would run using battlefront 2. so this rep skin file is not for a new map all i did was go here C:\BF2_ModTools\assets\sides\rep\msh [COLOR=black]and edited[/COLOR] rep_inf_ep3trooper then i ran BF2 and played corusant and nothing changed on the unit. so Icemember, in your moments of skinning guide you never said what to do with the file after you are done skinning it. another quick question is you had a 3D look at your clonetrooper commandertricorder.jpgI was wondering how you did it? and if i could do that using GIMP 2.0???

Hey you don't have to say your sorry. I thought you were probably on vacation. Can I add you as my gtalk friend to make conversation easier? While I was waiting for you answer I was practicing creating maps. I am now good at using the modtools. Hope you are better than me at skinning because I couldn't skin a trooper if my life depended on it.

Well iRock that is awesome! I mean i can't create a map to save my life. But i can skin troopers nice and fine. So do you want to get working on the Utapau map. Just an idea i was thinking that for the Map we could use the walkways above CP6 so that is just an idea and if you ever played Episode 3 the video game then try to model it like that. So keep in touch and HF!!!

About the mapping thing for some reason, hope you can help me, when i try to place objects they never show. Yes, i do follow the instructions and everything but it doesn't work. Well the thing is i get confused about the way they word those things so if you could help please do so, so we can make this mod get done faster!

Ok heres your problem, I made the same exact problem at first. in you MAP folder you need to makefolders for odf, msh, and effects. then copy the files in the msh folder of the world you want objects from to the msh folder in your MAP folder. do this for all other folder, IE odf, effects. Hope this helps.

hmmm i never knew about the effects things? I will try it thanks. are you going to start on the Utapau map? also on the BF2 Viewer when i try to open a file that i edited like the ep3trooper it says that the program isn't responding do i need the conversion pack installed for everything to work?
