How do you change the reinforcement count on a map? I am talking about ready made map as I want to do a mod of the default mygeeto in which the reinforcement count is 3000.

this is in the lua odf :change the number on reinforcementsSetupTeams{ rep = { team = REP, units = 32, reinforcements = 150, soldier = { "bac_inf_ep3_rifleman",9, 25}, assault = { "bly_inf_ep3_rifleman",1, 4}, engineer = { "dev_inf_ep3_rifleman",1, 4}, sniper = { "ney_inf_ep3_rifleman",1, 4}, officer = { "gre_inf_ep3_rifleman",1, 4}, special = { "thi_inf_ep3_rifleman",1, 4}, },

in the lua odf file change the line reinforcements for the two teams (default 150) to 3000

Is it possible to overwrite the default mygeeto? If so how? If not,how do you munge it?

Is it possibel to uncompile a map because thre are some ready made maps I want to improve bu upping the reinforcement count?

No. It's not possible to overwrite a default map...(At least, I've never seen it done) And, no... You can't "un-compile a map". Well... you can... It's in the Mod tools, but you can't overwrite the default one...

Yes you can. Its called "hex editing." All that time at GameToast, but still much to learn do you still have.

What? Overwrite a Default Map? Really? Meh. Modding's not my thing. Although, I do know some things. Like simple questions... (That was prolly a simple question...) ANYWAYS. I've seriously never seen a Default Map be overwritten. I've seen people add/change the modes you can play, but never an actual map overwritten...

At SWBFfiles check the "Mini-mods" section. There are lots of mods that override existing maps.
