I'm too cool to Post

When I want to play online at BF2 it asks for your Gamespy account. So I do that. But when it starts to connect, it exits BF2 in less than a second.
I've got a legal version of the game, so that's not the problem. I checked my internet connection and everything is how it should be.
So, does anyone know what's wrong?

Check your firewall settings, it may be blocking either Battlefront 2, or gamespy. You can play without gamespy, just click the 'Join' button without logging into gamespy, it works fine just the same as being logged into gamespy. the only difference is that you won't be entered into the gamespy skill ladder while playing, and people on your buddy list wont be able to contact you in-game.

Gamespy is kinda dull, anyway... Just do what wraith said or, you can Gamespy.com, or launch BF II from Xfire... For some reason that worked for me...
