check your RAM capacity, if its below something like 128mb, then the processor is probably having a hard time handling all the information because there is lots going on in space battles especially, click: start - run then type 'dxdiag', this will run a diagnostic of you computers spec.
I have an pentium 4 3.4ghz. i have 1 gb ddr2 ram. and as videocard an nvidia 6600gt with 256 mb of video memory. I don't think that it is the ram.

Hi guys , I have exactly the same issue, the games freezes after few minutes. I thought it was my computer because I have a laptop with a centrino processor with 2Go RAM and my video card is a Nvidia FX Go 1400 (256Mb), but it seems that I am not the only one to have the problem. I have tried many things to fix It!!!!but without success.... Do somebody have an idea ? Thanks to all....
What exactly is Go Ram? Is it something similiar with ddr2 ram?
