Anyone else who has the same problem and has ddr2 ram? Cause maybe the ram is the problem.

I have the same problems as well. Space is fun and all, but after 3-5min my whole system freezes. I dont think it has to do with ddr2 ram cuz it happens on my rig as well.

amd 3500+, 2gb pc3200, 2x asus 6600gt's

Problem seems to happen to both amd and intel gamers. Im not too fond of the space missions so Im not too worried about it, but still kinda fustrating.

I also have this problem and i'm running an AMD 3800, 1gig ram, and a 7800 256 graphics card. its possible that its a game prob that will most likely be fixed when a patch comes out... though it is very frustrating  :bawl:

Hmmmmm...I have an AMD Athlon 3000+ 1.8 ghz processor, 64 bit and G-force FX 6200 graphics card.. I started playing the game and it was fine the 1st few times but then it started getting jumpy at me... So i did the following... 1. Un-installed the game. 2. Went to Program Files and manualy DELETED the BF2 folder itself.. 3. Used a diff sound card cos my motherboard hasone built in and your sound card has to be Direct X 9 compatible, installed drivers for that.. 4. Now this one might be the most useful... Try going to www.NVidia.com and installing the up to date drivers for your NVidia graphics card... OR go to the site of your graphics card and look for drivers there.. 5. Re-install the game 6. After all that do a system restart just to finalize everything...

Of all of them options i suggest you try option FOUR first before you do ANYTHING.. A lot of games are fussy over what drivers you have for your graphics card so try that option first ok?

If that fails and u gotta do all da rest it means you'll lose your saves but there's an 80% chance it will fix the problem.. Your choice i am only giving advice.. Hope this helps even a little bit :D A. Fury
