I want to get Star Wars Battlefront 2 for my PC, but I'm not sure if my computer could handle it. If someone could help out in seeing if the game will lag or crash if played on my PC.

My computer specs...

Running a 2.4-GHz Pentium 4, 256MB of DDR266 SDRAM, and Radeon 9250 128MB DDR SDRAM 400MHz 64-bit DDR video cardwith 3D DemosATI Catalyst DriversUtilities.

System requirements for SWB2... CPU Required: Intel P3 1.5 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+ Recommended: Intel P4 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 2800+

Memory Required: 256 MB RAM Recommended: 512 MB RAM

Graphics Card Required: 64 MB 3D Graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting (T&L) Capability Recommended 128 MB 3D Graphics card with Hardware Vertex and Pixel Shader (VS/PS) Capability

Sound Card Required: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

I know I have the minimum requirements, but if anyone else runs the game fine with kinda what my computer has let me know!

Thanks you,

phazon elite

Well there is one way to find out. You should get the game, first. Once you install it, do not run the game yet. Instead, you go to my computer (on the start menu if you got windowsand head to C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\Install. There is an application called syscheck (its icon is some wood block letters stacked like a triangle and the blocks say M, F, and C). Run it and it will scan your computer to see if it is qualified to handle SWBF2. Side Note: You should see my computer specs, my graphics card isn't even supported! (It's a NVIDIA Geforce4 MX 420and it works fine)

you could also go to the lucas arts website and it will give you the system requirements there as well
