i dont know man i have my own problems. every time i try to extract some thing when its in an archive it says that the archive is not valid, the file is corrupt, on and on and on. i downloaded the winRAR thingy but then it still has these errors and i dont even know why im typing this post because no one is going to read it! doesnt life suck. (ill be checking in later) and yes i am taking this way to serious. y do these errors pop up i dont know so here is what i say to complicated mods....:wtf:

for those with vista you cant do it the modtools have no compatibility with vista being they were made before vista and were made much different than the compatibility that vista has so it wont work, sorry about that maybe you could hex edit existing levels but thats about it

Hello I'm new here and would like some help, (this problem has already posted here on post #25) bassically ive downloaded it all and gone on to VisualMunge ect. but my problem is that when I need to go onto zeroeditor.exe (before you say it yes I'm opening it from inside my levels data folder) and a Microsoft error thing comes up (some people might know it that send or dont send thing) and it just says that there is a problem and zeroeditor.exe needs to close. I realy need this to be sorted out because otherwise I'l be stuck with the default level which is grass and four cammand posts, please help!

If u got Vista there is nothing u can do. But u can do what i did. Buy a new hard disk and instal XP on it. Then u can just switch from Vista to XP when u want.

my problem: i keep having issues with the BFbuilder saying that the scripting is corupt, or something like that. i click yes keep running scripts on this page, and it does nothing. can anyone help?

Ali_mac, that was the Wrong binkw32.dll. go to LucasArts / Star Wars Battlefront II / GameData now you find another binkw32.dll . copy it and change it out with the wrong one. i hope this will help you.

Okay. It's been about a year, and i still haven't been helped out (no offense) so, here goes another try... My bfbuilder is in LOCAL DISC C, and when i try to use it it says An error has occured in the script of this page. Line: 303 Char: 1 Error:ActiveX component can't create object: 'scripting.filesystemObject' Code: 0 URL: file:///C:/BFBuilder/BFBuilder.hta Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes No Anyone know how to fix this? Is it in the correct location? Any help appreciated ironfire01

Ironfire: If for some reason you are still looking for help on this page, then read this. Move bfbuilder to your battlefront folder ( program files, lucasarts)

And if for some reason people are still answering this page, then I have a problem too. It says it isnt installed, so I run launchBF.exe like the readme says. Nothing changes. Same error message. Please help!

Ahhhh! I try to open the zero editor and it says zero editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. I'm so confused on these things! I have just started to do mods like yesterday! Please help!
