Hi, im new here. At the moment I have a cracked version of SWBF2 and I cant mod it, latly i have been getting this error when ever i munge my level- ERROR[levelpack shell.req]:Input file shell.req does not exist. [continuing] 1 Errors 0 Warnings - I dont have a clue how to fix this, so can someone help. Also i can never get my custom textures for the players in game to work, I change the texture to what i want and then i go into the lua and do what needs to be done in there. then i munge the level and go run SWBF2 and it cant get past the first load screen. so i take my mod folder out of the addon folder and it works perfectly. This is all new to me so i dint know what to do. Any help at all would be appreciated:(

I have a problem with opening the game. I made a default map, as it was written in Getting Started.doc, the Editor put it in the addon directory, but when I start the game, it crashes just after loading. Also, I had a problem with space battles, they crashed after about 2 min. of game, and the comp reseted. Can somebody help?

Hello. I am new here but I'm amazed at the quality of the SWBF2 mods that have been produced to hats off to all involved.

I have encountered an unusual problem that may or may not have been tackled before but I have searched extensively and I have found no solution for it. Essentially, besides the typical BF2 problems such as sound stutter and so on, my Steam version of BF2 works fine with the conversion mod and is most fun to play. However, when I attempt to spawn as a hero in battles such as conquest and XL, the game crashes back to the desktop as it did with the sound crash bug. It seems an unusual thing to crash over given the hero is just another unit. Any ideas how to remedy this?

I am fairly new to modding too but i think the problem may be if you added comand posts but didnt edit the lua script(s) that may have caused the crash. hope this helped

Hey, I have a fairly open and shut case for you guys. I'm trying to find the health and ammo droid odf's. I've been prowling around my map's common folder, but I can't seem to find anything that doesn't cause zero editor to crash. Where are the health and ammo droids odfs located? It's really frustrating because I have a fairly decent map (for a n00b) and the one thing it's missing is health and ammo droids, which are staples of every map. Some help would be appreciated, thank you.

P.S. I've read through the "Getting Started" Doc multiple times and skimmed all the other documentation pertaining to odfs.

Never mind I solved my problem. For anyone else, the files are in the common odf section and labled com_item_healthrecharge and com_item_weaponrecharge. But I have a new problem. I tried to change my sky, and now it's black. Like solid black, and although it looks cool, it doesn't look real. Has anyone run into this problem too or know a solution? Thank you.

wow, Yuke5, there's an edit button. ANYWHO What do I need to run ZeroEditor? I try to run it and I always get a runtime error! :banghead: Is my operating system the issue? 64 Bit Vista? Due I need JavaScript? I'm trying to map and haven't gotten very far. OK nevermind, I used the solutions on Gametoast and those were futile attempts.
