I mucked around in mod tools, very little though. Game woudnt work, screen went black when i start game up, then kapow back to desktop, re install, full delete then another reinstall and still the same thing. Ive had swbf2 for so long now, please help!

go to add and remove programs and remove BF2.

I think i had the same problem.. Do u have the modtools placed in the map: C:\BF2_ModTools? this is very important because you can get an error when you place it directly in the game map. Lordsaber.

No it was installed on my F:\ Drive. Ive completely uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted, reinstalled, and still nothing.

well it needs to be in program files.

No it doesnt. I had it in my F:\ Games\ SWBF2 folder for along time and worked a treat.

oh im just saying the default drive is local disk or C://

well i dont use the default drive either, that because that drive is used for other things and not for games.
