I have added a new faction, and it works fine, but everytime I attack the new faction in the Galactic Conquest and try to auto-resolve the battle, the game crashes. There is no problem with the new structures and I think either with the factions.xml code, because I only copied an old faction.

Have you tried attacking with the new faction? There might be a problem with one of their units. I had the same problem once with an Empire unit, whenever it was on the battlefield, the game would crash when I tried to autoresolve.

Attacking with the new faction is no problem. Also if I attack it when it only has a starbase or ground units. The game crashes only if there is a building, even if I give them a building from another faction.

I know, this thread is old and long gone, but my problem still exists and I haven´t find a solution yet. Maybe Darth Windu can help me, because Return of the Clones is a mod with 4 faction and everything works fine there. Is there something special I must consider by adding a fourth faction? Please someone help me. :confused:

Hi Catstone. Honestly can't say I can think of anything that would be causing it. Just go through the building code you've modified and see if you can find any errors in terms of health etc.

Thanks, but I already found it. I didn´t had Groundbases for the new faction. Now that I added them everything works fine.:)
