I am starting to get into modding. I am good at using XML files (blending mods together and adding space units to ground) Now I am learning about models and I have a few questions. 1.Where do i put ala and tga files? 2.What do i do in the XML files to add the units. 3.With models like the snail tank, do I need to do anything else. Thanks:)

alo and ala in models folder tga to textures folder xml in xml folder

go look at one of those coding tuts for the xmls or just copy an entry (such as the at st one) paste it and then switch models and etc

You said you know how to put space units in land battles. Could you tell me how to put a Mon Calamari cruiser into a land battle?

Not sure about this (because of school I have no time to play and try) but I think the best is to add a Space movement layer type.

you have to code it in like a snowspeeder... Make a whole new unit using the hardpoints and model.
