I can troubleshoot most of these. But I work 80 hrs a week, so all advice is appreciated. All are hero type questions.

1) how do u add units to your hero? Meaning stormtroopers with darth vader.

2) how can u make a hero buildable? Space and land. And does it matter whether it's space or land buildable if it is a space / land hero?

3) how do u add a spaceship to an existing land hero or vice versa( iv had limited success on this one. I'm having problem adding a new unit rather than making an existing unit unique)?

4) how do u make units buildable when a hero is in orbit? ( this one is related to last one in regards to new units not existing)

5) how do u make a new icon? (iv found a model that will work for the bounty hunter dengar, but I have no appropriate icon)

6) where do hero babies come from?

7) can you assign specific existing animations to new powers in XML coding? ( I'm trying to get grevious to spin his sabers when he is sprinting)

8) I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

9) oh yeah, it was how do you make Heros like Han and chewie or c3po and r2d2? I want use the land garm bel ibis model to spawn with the gargantuan)

10) can anyone use the yoda beserk power or palpatine lightning ? Or are those animations specific? I want to have use the lightning as if it were fired out of a gun like a flame thrower.

[COLOR=Red]You must revese it. You can only add Stormtroopers to Darth Vaders company. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]The easiest thing to do is add them to a vehicle or flagship, like admiral Ackbar and general Veers. Look in their coding for more specific things.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]Like Tyber Zann or Darth Vader? Actually the same as above. You need to add the line or something.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]There is a line in the XML, I believe it was called But then you can only build them with that ship/hero in orbit. [/COLOR] 5) how do u make a new icon? (iv found a model that will work for the bounty hunter dengar, but I have no appropriate icon)

[COLOR=Red]Cut it out from a picture, save it to 50x50 pixels, convert it to .tga, import it into the MT_Commandbar and you're done[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]That could be possible, but the Yoda's ability has special animations for in. If you don't mind that a Sith suddenly turn into Yoda, you can use it.[/COLOR]

2) I meant buildable as in like build dengar at a cantina for 10000 credits. Or daala at space station 5 at maw for 1 million credits.

I asked too many questions.

[COLOR=Red]You need to add it to the HeroCompanies.xml. There, you must use the squad name from the Stormtrooper, like Stormtrooper_Squad.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]Then you must add a buildcost and buildtime line, and if you want them being buildable only at that structure or planet, use or [/COLOR]

10) I guess I mean, if a model already has an animation that is not in use. Can u with .XML activate it? Like I noticed some models have jump animations or other silly stuff. Like the attention animation... Can u type in code to activate them during or what have yous

It depends for example the stormtrooper has a coding that is: Attention, Emperor_Palpatine, Darth_Vader,

and that is wat causes the attention animation if u were to change the "Emperor_Palpatine" line to some other name it would probably change it to where it does the attention animation for watever u replace "Emperor_Palpatine" at least in theory it should cause i havent tried it

I think he means, can he assign animations to go off when a certain ability it used. I'm not sure about through XML, but I think you could do this using .LUA.

I think that's what I mean and this maybe a step above my ability now. But iv been messing with greivous on the thrawns revenge minimod. He has a spin animation and the macarena. I want him to spin them light sabers all crazy when he sprints or if I can get another attack ability to work. It could be a presence induced animation I guess, like if Jedi are near him. I don't know.
