Stupid me did not read carefully the previous entries.
Sounds like Jin34 has a similar problem I do.
I have no other mods after the fresh re-install of EAW Gold Pack, and no mods in FOC besides yours. The only saved game is the Saves I make in the course of ending the current game I am playing.
It plays fine, until about mid-way through - and then encounters the same problem I think Jin34 has. I had wondered if all the units I had created was too much for the processor and it was locking up the AI in the game.
Should I not save at all, and only allow the autosave function to save my progress when I leave the game?
I have a question for you mobbmann. Im wondering why did you remove the ion cannons on space craft from your mod? And are you going to put them back somewhere in the future? Thank you. Btw, good job, your mod is the best out there
ion cannons are in the game, but they arent as common as before... the vsdI has them, bombers have an ion attack, I just removed them from the capitol ships because they dont do any damage whatsoever once shields are down, it upset alot of gameplay (at least for me) when playing... I simply adjusted the shields and the cannons acordingly.
Good news everyone, I cleared things up with smallpox and found other models to replace the ones that used his shader so people who were playing AEM 5.1 should see it back up soon with all the ships that were in 2.2. as for ACM, I will upload it tommorow afternoon as promised or evening. This will more than likely be the last version of ACM so I hope you guys like it... I used the down time to add a few perks to the mod, nothing major just a little more spit and polish is all.
i just got up to date on the drama like, 2 seconds ago, so i hope this isn't gonna get this thread locked, but thanks mobbman, for sticking it out through this interwebz slugfest. I'd also like to reiterate what someone else said about checking the stuff before you post it, because i am of a like mind, in that i like playing the ACM and AEM mods, and i'd hate for this to become a problem again. As always, these mods are amazing, good job, high five, great success, the whole nine yards.
Oh, and do you have a list of the ships that have been dropped? i know the bulwark i think, the trade fed frigate and one other, but any more that have been affected?
actually, no ships have been dropped... everything has been resolved permissions wise. alot of models were changed but you guys wont even notice in game...as a matter of fact, I added a pallaeon II battlecruiser (totally fanon) and vulture droids that launch proton torpedos...I'm working on some last minute touches right now before I upload it today
I can't wait. Just a quick question though. Are the updated projectiles gonna be closer to Phoenix Rising or AotR in appearance?
actually 2.3 will be very similar to 2.2 there is a pellaeon II but other than that most of the changes are below the surface. speaking of which... 2.3 has been uploaded... I will release the plug ins for 2.3 that let you guys tweak parts of the mod for your own tastes like the pop cap in space, droid armies for all factions or laser mod that will change the turbo lasers of the ships in space and speed up the regular lasers.

mobbman, i wonder if it's possible for you to use a patch that changes the model used by the Imperial Star Destroyers and their variants. The existing model is just so plain, and not what i expect from your greatness. I think the model you used for the ISD II in AEM is more along the lines of what im talking about, but its been some time since in played that one.
