probably tomorrow, or the next day... I'm a little burnt out right now on this game and I'm going to take a break from modding it for a while after the plug ins...

jin34, like I said, there are a ton of under the surface changes, to use a 2.2 saved game would result in all your units locking up on the galactic map. just start a new game for 2.3 it will save you alot of time and frustration.

Ok thanks. I wonder what caused the lock up before, I didnt change anything with the plug-ins or anything and my pc has more than enoguh power to run this game maxed out.

So I finished the first three plug ins here is a list of what they will be called when filefront posts them:

Plugin for ACM2.3 (laser pack).zip

Plugin for ACM2.3 (Droid armies for all factions).zip

Plugin for ACM2.3 (50 pop cap).zip

I highly recommend the laser pack, it looks much better in game and actually improves performance, expect to gain a few fps ... as for the other two, just remember, I carefully balanced the gameplay and altering it might not be such a good thing... at least in mho... just my 2 cents smile.gif at any rate enjoy... I'm finally going to get to play my mod and enjoy it... sheesh!!!

Mobbman, how would i go about setting the model you used for the ISD III for use on the ISD I and II as well as all heros using ISD I and IIs? Should i just change the model in the xml file from whatever it is the the new model or will that mess stuf up? Cuse the regular ones are just sooo bland and unappealing.

No, you can t just change the model, youd have to change the hardpoints also, and they different attachment bones for each laser, shield generator, engines ect... if you change the attachment bone you have to change the fire bonea, fireboneb, collision mesh. youll see an example of the standard isd below: open the isd3's hardpoints and youll have to match up the hardpoints and swap them out. - <HardPoint Name="HP_Star_Destroyer_Weapon_FL"> <Type>HARD_POINT_WEAPON_LASERType>

Mobbman I was doing some thinking about the glitch where the units freeze, could it be because I have Gold Pack DVD with both EaW and FoC on one disc?

My version of FoC has a date of 08-07-07 while the last update was in December 2006, maybe the Gold Pack has a slightly diff version that wasn't publicly released.

I tried running 1.1 but it says FoC not found, please insert FoC CD-rom.

As for the plugins:

I imagine that like modding the files, one adds the plugins on a current save file at your own risk?
