this is a two part question: 1- how do you add the bombardment to new capitol ships you add to the foc game? (is it different for rebel, empire and zann consortium?) 2- is there any way to give the rebels a bombardment ability like the empire? if so does it have to be green lasers hitting the ground or can you change it to red? thanks in advance sidious if you snipe this post too ;)
Look in factions.xml for this...
There you can pick the projectile, slavos, etc.

If you mean making them bombardment-capable, just look in any bombardment-capable ship for something relating to bombardment.
Either the tag is obsolete, used in conjunction with bombardment data in factions.xml, or is an alternate function, I have not tried using just the xml tag when adding the ability to a new starship.

Isn't the bombardment data totally separate from that? I thought the bombardment data was just what happens when you use the bombardment, the bombardment capable tag was what determines if a unit enables it. Granted I haven't looked much into bombardment...
sidious is right... I tried the tag in the unit xml, that does not do anything that I know of...
This is what you find in factions.xml.....

Is there any way for the bombardment for each ship to be different? for example a superstardestroyer should be able to fire more shots and over a larger area than smaller ships
