Two quick questions: How do I make it so that more Hero 'bubbles' will appear in GC?

How do I re-activate random events for FOC? (I have copies of the appropriate "Intervention" xml files, and have them applied in Gameobjectfiles, but what do I do next? I think it involves game constants, but I'm not sure. I did once already, but I forgot how...)

10 heroes on a faction (at one time) more isnt possible.

random events ? *pfeh* .. i didn't find a way to use them in frontlines, if you find out a way.... please tell me..

but we're searchin' on it....

Mmm.... One other question:

How would I add a new type of 'environment' (as in, there's urban, temperate, arctic, etc.). I want to create new ones with different music events for them. The music I know how to do, but what else do I need to change?

The ones I want to create are: Factory (Mechis III) Jungle (Yavin IV) Beach/Tropics/Ocean (Manaan, Berchest) Sky (Bespin, Taloraan) Open-to-Space (Kessel) Fortified (Bastion, Yaga Minor)

Well Sky has already been made for FOC really you cant make your own enviroment you just make your maps you want them to be like if you make a town with factories, just make it industrial looking.

Nah, I meant like the label environment. Like how rebel troopers have a "forest" look for "swamp" and "forest" maps, a "snow" look for "arctic" maps, and an "urban" look for "urban" and "temperate" maps. And then there's different music events for different labels of maps. For example, on a "desert" map, it sometimes plays the Sandcrawlere theme, whereas in a "swamp" map, it plays some music from Luke's scenes with Yoda on Degobah.

I'm just wondering where you go to create these new "types".

(interestingly, one could easily make it so that snow troopers deploy on Tatooine by changing Tatooine's type from "Desert" to "Arctic" lol)

I tried making a new command bar that would have more building slots, more build que slots, and build menu slots. But while i got them in game, the engine won't recognize them. So it's probably hardcoded, to those slots only. Though I have not tried adding more hero bubbles, so I'll give it a whirl. To enable interventions, put the suspended scripts in you story_plot file, then use the "sandboxhuman" for the in the campaign in campaigns_underworld_Gc.xml

Mind you the sandbox events seem to be buggy in FoC...or maybe it's just me. They don't seem to work properly like in vanilla EaW.

Yeah, I remember when I did get them working last time, I set the limit from 3 per GC to 15, assuming they'd occur one or two at a time like they did in EAW (I think), instead I immediately got all 15 at once at the very beginning when I started (as opposed to waiting a little while first and *then* happening) and I couldn't tell which planet they wanted me to build stuff on/attack/scout out/use Boba Fett on either, it just said "we strive to remove all traces of rebellion from this galaxy, conquer the BLANK planet (I forget the word they used, but it was like "selected" or "noted" or "requested" or "targeted" or something vague, either way, it didn't tell me which they were talking about... >_>). Because of that, unfortunately, I never could figure out if it worked because I didn't know if I had conquered the right planet yet... >_>

Edit:

Ah, now I remember: I believe at the bottom of the description in EAW it listed the planet's name it wanted you to do whatever on, it didn't last time I tried.

Hmm... by non-JW you mean the ZC themes and the alternate version of Binary Sunset?

I'm inserting themes from other SW games as well, though, like some of Rogue Squadron. I have a few non-SW ones as well though, the loading screen plays The Eye of The Tiger and in the desert, I have it playing the theme from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. :D

I think I shall try to create a new one today and see if I can avoid a crash.
