When you said "created" , do u mean with a new model and texture ,OR a varient of a previously existing unit? .Also is it a ground unit or a space unit?. For modding tutorials check the master sticky, eaw and more, everythingeaw and other mod related sites.

have you tried this link? http://forums.filefront.com/sw-eaw-modding-mapping-editing/245132-modding-tutorial.html . it has something about inserting new units . you could also just paste a copy of the units xml coding and i could look it over

I dont know much about creating icons , but my guess is the dimentions arnt right , also u may have not entered the icon name correctly into the units code . I suggest you ask Keraunos281 or Plo_Koon about it because they are the two icon creaters i know of. One more thing , did you create the icon your self and did you insert it into the Mt_commandbar.tga properly ?

Icons must be created using a program that can read and write TGA based files (such as photoshop or paint shop pro). The files themselves must have an alpha based background to show the icon as having a transparent background and added to the MTD_commanderbar.tga after being resized to 50*50 pixels (unless your using a large icon).
