How exactly do you adjust this screen:

You can adjust what text is displayed by editing the DAT file. The Victory conditions start out as "TEXT_CAMPAIGN_SINGLE_VICTORY_". The white text starts out as "TEXT_CAMPAIGN_SINGLE_".

The actual goals for victory are defined in the Campaigns file:

Human_Victory_Conditions, Human_Victory_Planet_Names, AI_Victory_Conditions and AI_Victory_Cycle_Limit are all I know of, but there are probably more if you look through all of the campaigns.

Second question, I know it's noob to ask, but how many heroes does regular EaW allow per side? I made a 3 new rebel heroes but they don't spawn? I've easily spawned new ones in FoC but EaW just doesn't want them to :/?

Hmm... I've looked all over the place and here's what I've got for you so far:

In the Story XML file, the Universal_Story_Start event contains the elements "Story_Dialog", "Story_Chapter" and "Story_Tag". The Story_Dialog contains a list of goals for the specific faction (maybe?), the Story_Chapter reads from the specified Story_Dialog and pulls out the chosen chapter, or goal set (again, maybe?). So, the Story_Chapter is pulling the goal's information from the Story_Dialog. I don't know what the Story_Tag does.

I don't really know how to edit the Story_Dialog file. I've looked through the files in the Resources folder and didn't find much, as well as some of the XML files. You should look through them, because I didn't really look through it all thoroughly.

I did add a hero to conquest mode once, so I might be able to help you. The Story file looks right... Could you maybe add the hero's XML for me to look at?
