Pirate AI doesn't work in skirmish or galactic conquest.
Ok, solved everything except that pirates won't build any buildings in galactic conquest, they attack, but don't build anything.
Any ideas on how to solve the building issue? I'm having some similar problems.
you need to go into there XML's and make them buildable like all the other units, just copy some of the lines (cant tell ya exactly at the moment) and paste it into the pirate ships/units
I can build them, but the AI doesn't build them

Take a look at the .lua's in Scripts\AI\, the buildables should be in those .luas along with the Empire, Rebels, and Underworld. Example:
Look in Buildbasecomponentheavyvehiclefactory.lua, and you'll see this....

but I have seen other versions for eaw, where can I get the good versions for foc ?
Go to the mods folder and look for the "Source" file. In it are converted scripts.
i have it only for eaw, and not for foc
