I am going to test this myself
For f*cks sake i fixed it by reinstalling already. But what you'll find is after a while when you try to start up max it will load up max to the UI screen and it will crash and autodesk willa sk if you want to send an error report. Yes I'm fully patched and yes I followe dthe instructiosn word for word. Just a warning it may or may not happen to you. #4 Today, 06:14 PM vaders_Legion vbmenu_register("postmenu_44971", true); noob Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: California Posts: 24 Well damn, i got an error to tell ya about. When you exit the program after you import something, you can't start it back up again without receiving an error.
Do you have any extra plugins installed? anything that might help us get to root of that issue?
Im using 3dsmax 8 with no plugins except those mentioned in the readme. I turned my heap allocation memory to 500 cause it wouldnt import some of the models unless i set it higher.

I have put memory on 150 as readme.txt from alo importer tells and it runs well.
I got 3 gigs o ram, so i can afford to crank it up unlike some people. I doubt the problem can be the heap allocation because several other people suffered from the same error without turning thiers higher than 150mb
z3r0x_2;4392450I bet Nomada was the FIRST person to download it.
Probably no but really I do not need it because I have other tools.
You can have 3gb of ram but 3dmax will never use them. I have four and one core 2 quad 6600. But I do not see neccesary to put more of 150mb.
It work really well for me! Very nice tool! Thanks Mike.
