I know that every modder has a schedule, and a busy one at that, so I decided to ask earlier to give people more time to decide if they want to do it. I have recently downloaded the Ages of Star Wars : Jedi Civil War mod and it looks like it has great potential. I, however, am disappointed to find that my usual 1sec1cred mod doesn't effect the Sith Empire. I implore, ask, beg (you choose) someone out there to work their magic and make it so that I can have full control over my Sith Empire faction, and truly enjoy the masterpiece that seems to be AoSW : JCW. Thank you for taking the time to read, and I look forward to finding that brave soul who is skilled and commited enough to the community to make a 1sec1cred mod for AoSW : JCW!

Perhaps you haven't read the Master Sticky, but all I see is a lot of forum guidelines. Now, maybe if you would drop your attitude and give me a civilized, constructive response, I could say 'thank you' and be on my merry way.

But it in fact IS simple. You just have to edit two lines for every unit:

11

max 2 minutes of work ;)

As Filo said, you change 2 lines for every unit

The problem is, Filo, that I don't know where to find that line. On top of that, if I do find the correct .xml file, the units are listed as they are in normal EaW, not JCW units... I could probably guess, but i'd need to know where to find the right .xml files.

SPACEUNITSCAPITAL.XML, SPACEUNITSFRIGATES.XML, SQUADRONS.XML and other like these. JCW units are lower than EaW ships (on top). Simply use ctrl+f to find your lines.

Now, would that be in the asow_jcw -> XML ---- Or just in the normal XML folder in the Data folder?

The JCW one. When you run the mod it's like files from mod folder temporarily overwrite original game files, so these in data folder stay without changes.

The JCW fils are modified .xml files from EAW (same with FoC). It is exactly the same thing, except for the modified things.
