First off SMG, thank you for not including a link to the beta in the english section for us, I had lots of fun sifting through your forums trying to find it.:mad: Now for my feedback on the actual mod. The game itself seems good, but the AI are another story entirely. They're absolutely positively overpowered. The first fleet the empire attacks me with consists of 3 star destroyers, 2 venators, 3 victory I's and an assortment of other things. All of my starting ships COMBINED into one fleet probably couldnt take all of that on, even without population limits. Hundreds of tie fighters and interceptors swarm my defenses and my fighters cant get very far beyond my station, let alone to the enemy fleet. Then the ground combat comes. Several squadrons of stormtroopers, an at-at, speeder bikes, improved at-sts, and other things, against my unnamed crappy speeders and 2 squads of merecenaries. Sure, I could count my losses and move on, but then they would just lay waste to world after world, and I'd know that there is nothing i can do to stop their invincible fleet. Mind you this is on EASY! EASY! I shudder to think what they'd do on hard.. probably hit me with a fleet of 9 deathstars at all planets simultaneously. Plus theres the structures. Half of the blacksun structures do absolutely nothing at all. The turbolaser towers on mandalore weren't even there when the battle started , and that "Shield generator" also does nothing.

In a few days we will publish the English version.
The new AI has deserved its name. It works almost without cheats.
Is the AI to strong, are you too weak. ;)

Im sorry, I was just annoyed last night, I overestimated my enemies. But still, they are a tad on the agressive side. I just now beat them =o. Oh and the Imperial venators have the same "corpse" (i dont remember what modders call it) as the blacksun ones.

Found another.. rather odd bug, at least I think it is. Garm Bel Iblis' Gargantuan can "run over" vehicles as if they were infantry, this makes him virtually unstoppable.
So, there's going to be another release? I'm not sure what initiated this thread (an earlier post for beta testers I haven't seen?), but since it's related, recent, and someone from SMG replied, I'll put this here. I don't know why this keeps happening, but every time I go to the SMG site, it gets taken over by a huge embedded ad within seconds of loading. If there were any english to read about updates and releases, I wouldn't be able to read it. I'm not sure if it's something on my end or from the site that's causing it. I've tried 2 browsers - no difference. Is there any other way to find out what's up with the group, projects, and contacting them? Especially the contacting part, since they don't always respond (timely) over at the files area of FileFront (which I'm so glad is "back"). Thanks!
So far it looks very good the beta i might add!! balance is alot better than it used too be the Black sun pirates are playable again wich is a good input since they where my fav faction.. :D
Only thing to note is the amount of time u have to use to play this mod :P
Also can u make a skirmish option where u can get to play with all the ships in the mod??
