Hey guys. So I want to model my own stuff into my mod. Thing is, last time I touched EAW was years ago and cannot remember what tools I need to go about editing EAW. I remember something to do with a viewer (ALO?) and that but thats about as far as I can recall. Can anyone point me towards a thread what someone has made with the basic tools in? Would be a great help :)

The master sticky thread has a list of all the tools that you could possibly need to mod EAW except for bigger programs like 3DS MAX for modeling and photoshop and such. Yeah it is the ALO viewer to view models without having to put them ingame to see them. You will also need a EAW extractor to extract the .meg files that have the models, xml, textures, etc.

I have both 3DSMAX and PS, Its just the other stuff I need, i.e the extractor, Ive found the .alo viewer from before, just need to remember what else to get. Thanks for the reply :)

You're welcome. What exactly are you still looking for because I can give you links to all the mod tools. Also what version of 3DS Max are you running? The alamo object importer and exporter only work with 3DS MAX 6, 8, and 9. For those importer and exporter check petrolution mod tools.
