I was wondering if anybody could do me the favor of maybe creating some turrets from BSG as i have no idea where to start and would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me. Turrets such as - BSG-KEW-Turret.jpg Thanx in advance for any help.

well first youll need 3ds max 9 + the .ALO exporter and .ALO importer (if you want to add to a pervious model) or below or someone who has it and can model the well model for you. Youll also need photoshop or something like it to make textures or any image suite that has the .DDS plugin thats what EAW/FOC reconizes as textures. and youll also need to know how to code in XML format that being porbaly the easiest part due that their are tutorials for EAW coding all over the web if i were you id dl the ISD vs Venator mod and look at the coding for the turrets to get familar with the turrets. As for modeling to get familar with 3ds max you can search the internet for tutorials on modelling or you can build something to get familar i suggest 3dBuzz's AT-AT turorial (3D Buzz) theres also ppl on the fourms who will give you advise and point you to other tutorials including texture tuts. and finally youll more than likely need alot of patience because it almost never works the first time ingame. (ps im also new at this so if i missed anything im sorry and you can get a coppy of 3ds max and Photoshop as trials from their respective sites but im not sure about max9 due to it being an older release you may have to or ebay it >_>)
