My guess would be ship class Transport... that's really supposed to be reserved for units that are specifically company transports. Try using Corvette.

Try removing the from the code, i dont know what it does but you dont see it on any other code other than transports. If nothing else works, just take the model and use a corvette's coding for it.

yep that does it but another question. how do i get them to stop spawning at the center of the map?
Could be something wrong with the hardpoint you're using as the spawn location. I've a raider unit that spawns a couple of other units in space combat and they show up right next to/on top of it.
Check ur hardpoint code or remove it and add: Your Bone
