I'm sorry for the lack of updates and Information regarding the latest version of Conflicts in Space, I've been busy, and now i am making a new post so that people know the score.
Firstly, The mod is NOT dead, I am going to be finishing it, and very thankfully with the help of Codeuser and Vaderslegion.
Secondly, The mod is very near completion, and there are not a Huge amount of things that need to be done before the mod is finished, But the biggest thing that does need to be done are the maps. All of the blue lobster maps that are currently in the mod need to be redone, To a higher EAW standard. Therefore, I am requesting the help of a Good mapper who is fluent with the EAW map editor, Not FOC, and can spare the time to do these maps for me.
Now, Onto some information about the mod;

-Brand new Galactic Conquests done to reflect certain Eras, Such as the Dark Empire GC

Although i say this is brand new, it is a very simple idea that i am sure many people before have done. The way it now works is that at the early levels you get Older units, and as you upgrade they are replaced by more up-to date units with better weaponary.

The Old things look Wonderful and the New things are Rad, this mod hands down changed Eaw. Props to both mod leaders and people that helped. You guys really pulled this together
looks great, daft. now we just need people to understand not to release cis mods to eawfiles.

One feature I was really looking forward to was the new space buildables order. Was that finalized, and would you perhaps describe how it's final form will be?
Well, Space building is now done like Avenger origionally said.
There are Three leveled Space stations for both factions, Golan 1-3. From Level 2 Upwards you can build shipyards, which count as special Structures, and from them you can build certain Ships. Golans do not provide the production of any ships at all if i remember correctly, aside Level 3 providing some unique units above some planets, eg. Death Star and Soverign. The Shipyards are basically leveled, But you do not require lighter ones for the heavier ones, They are- Factory, Light, Medium, Heavy, Or EVEN more simply, Fighter, Corvette, Frigate, Capital.
I am thinking about implementing Even more unique shipyards for Planets such as Mon caliamari and Kuat, to provide the production of Imperial Star Destroyers and Mon Cal Cruisers. BUT, this idea is not finalised and therefore may not happen.
Also, I am going to mention a few new things in the mod, Unit-wise, and also describe a new GC to you, These things are all WIP and are subject to modifications.

The Retreat from Endor GC This new galactic conquest is going to be Very unique to the mod and i hope you all love it. It is still in the concept stage as it is going to take some time to do, but i wanted to tell you what ideas we had for the moment.
The Empire will be the main playable faction for this GC, even though the rebels are in there, becuase it is geared to be played as the Empire. The GC starts moments after the battle of endor has finished, and the rebel forces there are immense. They have many ships and troops, and are ready to start fighting back the Empire. The Empire is broken, and many minor factions are splitting off to take command of the Galaxy. The players Empire is that of Gilad palleon.
The player starts off at a group of Asteroids near Endor with a large fleet of damaged Imperial Star Destroyers, Each with unique damage, so no two of these destroyers are the same. The player also has some smaller un-damaged craft. They also start with a mediocre army to capture planets with. They also start with a small force at Courscant, But becuase of where their main fleet is, it will be hard to defend. They start at a low tech level, and their ten damaged Star Destroyers are the only powerful ships they get until they can take a ship building planet and upgrade it.
When more details are finalised then i will post them.
