i know that problem. its appering when u attack the root of the model. like when u have a ion cannon hardpoint but put a dmg projectile on it. but i also have the mod and the files and i couldnt find the problem. i suggest u do as D3matt says and code new hardpoints.
Ok, I have found a replacement model to replace it with here http://empireatwar.filefront.com/file/Republic_Dreadnought_Battlecruiser;68120
I will try coding new hardpoints. With the new model to replace it if it doesn't work could I attach the turrets from the dreadnought in ROTM (the 4 on the side that fire dual turbolasers) to the new model?? Thanks

The root of which model, the turret or the ship?
i think the ship. but maybe both. so the root of the turret is connected with the root of the model.
So it's a model issue then?
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, these types of things are tough to figure out when you're not actually looking at the unit itself.
i dont know. maybe its a model issue maybe not. i really dont know but the codes are all fine. so what other could it be?
Do you want me to show you the bones on the model through the .alo viewer? I can post it for you to see. Thanks
Sure, might as well.
Ok, here are the bones of the model. I took off the electricity effect and rigged for Phoenix Rising bones so you could see the others. Thanks
(wouldn't let me put these photos as attachments:confused:, I got an error, so I just uploaded them to this website)
The first thing I notice is that every bone is connected to the root. All the other models I've seen connect bones in a branching tree form, with the turrets having their gun and damage bones coming off of them. That's probably why it's not working right.
EDIT: Also I can confirm that the one you linked above works perfectly.
