yes, I know that V1 just came out a few days ago, but this thread is where the modding community can give me suggestions and I can tell you all progress on V2. You can also check out V1 here- http://empireatwar.filefront.com/file/EAW_Enhanced_Mod;65598 eventually I will need someone to test my mod.Some things I have done/attempting to do are- -Vader's SD now has two hypervelocity guns instead of ion cannons. -Mara Jade's Acclamator has more shielding and health. -The Executor has a hypervelocity gun. -The Executor also has a heavy Ion cannon and a magnepulse cannon. -Escort frigates actually follow the capital ship they spawn from. -Acclamator's health, shielding, and weapons are stronger. -Mon Calamari Cruisers have hangers and escorts. (forgot them in V1.) -Rebels now have the dreadnought and the nebulon-B2 frigate. -The Empire has the dreadnaught. -Population cap. is increased to 65. -Repair crafts are added, both side have a different one. -Arc-170 starfighters are added to the rebels. -Eta-2 Interceptor fighters are added and have an ion cannon shot. -Heroes are stronger. (Ground) -Pirates have the Venator, Arc170, and Eta-2 Interceptor. -Added Obi-Wans Eta-2 with fighter escorts. -Added a hero unit to the pirates that has a stolen ISD. -Pirates are now playable. -Executor's icon changed from Piett to SSD. -You can build all TIE's from the Executor in battles. -Any scale issues are fixed. I will also be adding/taking away things from that list if they dont work. I have also experienced some major bugs like menu screen screw ups, having no fighters available to build, icons screwed up, special abilities not working, description problems, but I will fix them. Now some questions I have are what do you want to see added? Do you want the SSD replaced with LoW's? Anything wanted to be removed? What were some problems with V1? -swfan654 :)
uhh just out of curiousity, you didnt happen to get the heavy ion cannon out of my mod did you? and the hyper velocity cannon that works on cap. ships as well?
no dont worry the hypervelocity guns and heavy ion cannons on ships are just hardpoints that shoot that projectile. All I did was change like Proj_ship_turbolaser_green to Proj_Hypervelocity_Gun or Proj_Ion_Cannon_Planetary.
Ok, thats fine, i was just checkin, but you might consider changing the name from heavy ion cannon, to something else to avoid confusion.
Does anyone know how to get the escort frigates to actually follow the capital ship they spawn from? I havent gotten it to work yet..like the fighter squads do? Ive also added in a TIE Advanced squadron, and MAYBE a republic gunship.
i like these ideas so much that i want v2 ALOT. can you continue this amazing trend of mods? thank you star wars fan

Nah just joking.... now you cant get the escort frigates to follow the ship because they dont spawn from the ship. The only way to get them to follow the ship would be to spawn them from the ship, they will hyperspace in but should follow it.
yeah right now they do spawn from the ship, or hyperspace in once the capital has hyperspaced, and just sit there by the capital ship until I tell them to move.
lows ssd looks better i think but i want to check bailknights for now and make the gunship have trooper drop ability it hovers then troops deploy give it a hover flight path like in movies
yeah I will try to give it that ability, but first I need to get the model converted and then skinned somehow, then coded in, but should I make it a space and land unit? ah, double posting (no edit button,) but I changed Vaders sd from having hypervelocity guns to laser cannons (more realistic) and gave Obi-wan just an eta-2 by itself, but uped the health, speed, special abilties, shielding, and power so its more like the Millenium Falcon.
