First, this is nothing new, just a mod request from a few people who wanted the Eclipse in G.C Mode (and can't seem to find the code even after I pointed them in the right direction...) Second, credit to this goes to z3r0x. He originally coded in the Eclipse so all credit goes to him. However, I have tweaked the code to make the ship buildable from Byss at Tech Level 5, from a Level 5 Space Station for 20,000 credits. You can just go into the eclipes's xml (if you have it), copy the name, and put the name in the name on a planet in the campaign for any team but i do not know how to make i buildable
Is it possible to add hardpoints to this unit? If so, could you tell me how?
There is a mod that does indeed add hardpoints to the Eclipse, but so few I don't think it's really worth it (about 5 in total) It might be best to wait for a mod to come out where a mod team adds in their Eclipse with Hardpoints

Well, the Eclipse is supposed to be huge. So, maybe 20? Including a gravity well.

Why? Wouldn't it be nice to have turbolasers defend it while the superlaser recharges if there aren't any other allied units around?
