How do you make it so the Mods work, i keep draggin the XML folder to GameData folder but it says "Unable to create folder XML" Access is denied. it will not work, and i need help.

are you dragging them to the hard drive, or the CD?


If there is no image, Mikey broke something...

i opened the hard drive with the cd in it, then i went to GameData folder, Then I opened a Second game folder and tried moving it but it wont work

Like im trying to use the Absolute Enhancement Mod, but it always says Unable to create folder

It sounds like he is trying to copy the .xml files to CD not the hdd. Follow these steps: 1- Go to My Computer on the start menu and open it 2- Then open the [COLOR=red]( C: )[/COLOR] drive and locate the [COLOR="Red"]Program Files [/COLOR]folder and open it 3- Then locate the [COLOR=red]LucasArts[/COLOR] folder and open it 4- Then locate the [COLOR=red]Star Wars Empire at War[/COLOR] folder and open it 5- Then locate the [COLOR=red]GameData[/COLOR] folder and open it 6- Then locate the [COLOR=red]Data[/COLOR] folder and open it 7- Here just copy the [COLOR=red]XML[/COLOR] folder from the Absolute mod to the [COLOR=red]Data[/COLOR] folder 9- You may also need to copy a [COLOR=red]MasterTextFile_ENGLISH.DAT [COLOR=black]file and that goes into the Text folder also located in the[/COLOR] Data [/COLOR][COLOR=black]folder[/COLOR] Hope this helps, if not let me know...

i did that but the mod is not working, the game still comes out normal, no new features.

It might be the version of game you have, although i'm not certain because the only mods I use are the ones I make, so I never get the chance to test other ones.

Yup, there's version 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 patches, I stuck with the 1.2 cause i've heard bad things about 1.3, plus I don't wanna lose my modding work.

your mods arent affected by the patches I made my mod just after the first patch and I have all the patches and it still works
