The intent of this mod is to fix the rather large number of bugs, imbalances, missing content, and useless units still in Forces of Corruption.

Please note that this is NOT intended to add units or content that was not in EaW or FoC already. So please don't ask me for Clone Troopers or Galaxy Guns or other things like that.

Also please note that this is intended for balance. Not realism or keeping strictly to canon. So please do not report such things as "bugs" that need to be fixed.

Current changes:

Additions -Re-added EaW GC Campaigns (Except for "Alderaan's Demise" due to changes in FoC). -Added a version of the pirate frigate and v-wing squadron for zann for the skirmish pirate docks. -Added the Venator cruiser for rebels and empire at the skirmish pirate docks. -Added the V-wing for rebels and empire at the skirmish pirate docks. -Re-added random events from EaW to the rebels and empire. -Added Kyle Katarn and Mara Jade in GC as tech 3 heroes. -Re-activated some unused menu background battles.

Fixes -Fixed some XML errors on some files. -B-Wing now has it's own bombing run. (It was reusing the Y-Wing before)

Projectiles -Speeded up fighter lasers. -Changed B-Wing laser color to red. (Was green) -Fixed rebel Z-95 firing red lasers (Muzzle flash is green) -Fixed non-rebel Z-95 moving slower then the rebel version.

Sound -Acclamator no longer says "What are your orders?" when ordered to move. Sound file now plays on selecting the unit. -Fixed rebel "Removing Corruption" sound playing when Thrawn removes corruption. -Fixed a bad music trigger. (Lose_To_Zann_1 should have been UND_Lose_To_Zann) -Changed zann losing music (Rebel_Lose) to UND_Lose_To_Zann.

Scales -Fixed mis-scaled death clones and brake-offs. -Fixed improper Z offsets on some death clones. -Fixed scale of Slave I when landing. -Lowered fighter scale by around 20% to reduce clipping issues while in formation. -Lowered Z offset of SSD.

Icons -Fixed V-wing having the Z-95 icon. -Fixed dismounted scout trooper having the stormtrooper icon.

GC -Fixed Han Solo not being able to remove corruption.

Text (English) -Made a number of text corrections. -Expanded some shorter descriptions. -Renamed the Aggressor-class Destroyer to the cut name Krayt-class Destroyer. Re-activated some sound files referring to the name.

Balancing:

Ground -Scout Trooper bike is no longer crushable by normal vehicles. -Raised Scout Trooper bike health to 90. (Was 60) -Scout Trooper speed and sight is no longer affected by harsh weather. -Lowered Canderous Assault Tank health to 300 (Was 425) -Lowered units in a Canderous Assault Tank company to 2. (Was 3) -Canderous Assault Tank now fires 3 shots. Raised recharge time a bit. (To fix animation error) -Lowered Dark Trooper Phase 3 cost (skirmish) to 1200. (Was 1400) -Reduced the amount of units spawned from the Pirate Command Center.

Fighters -Increased idle chase range of fighters. -Y-wing no longer uses it's ion attack on fighters, bombers or transports. -Raised TIE Intercepter fire rate to 1 shot per 0.3 seconds. (Was 0.5) -Lowered TIE Intercepter laser recharge time to 2.8 seconds. (Was 3.1) -Lowered amount of torpedoes the B-wing fires to 2. (Was 3)

Corvettes -Lowered Corellian Corvette shields to 350. (Was 600) -Lowered Corellian Gunboat shields to 500. (Was 800) -Lowered Crusader Gunship shields to 425. (Was 700) -Lowered Crusader Gunship health to 400. (Was 800) -Lowered Broadside Cruiser/Marauder Cruiser price (skirmish) to 2300. (Was 3200) -Lowered the amount of missiles the Broadside Cruiser fires to 3. (Was 5) -Lowered the amount of missiles the Marauder Cruiser fires to 4. (Was 5) -Reduced damage Diamond-Boron Missiles do to fighters by half.

Frigates -Lowered Vengeance frigate mass driver HP's health to 500. (Was 800) -Lowered MC30c shields to 2000. (Was 3000) -Lowered MC30c HP health by half.

Capital Ships -Krayt/Aggressor-class Destroyer has standard capital ship planet restrictions on. -Star Destroyer launches more fighters.

GC -Tarkin can now remove corruption in GC. -Lowered trade route hyperspace speed multiplier in GC. -Lowered Underworld Palace income modifier (GC) to 5%. (Was 7) -Lowered Underworld Palace mining colony income multiplier (GC) to 2. (Was 2.5)

Maps -Altered Byss and Corellia Space map to not spawn the attackers in a nebula.

AI: -GC AI shuts down corruption more often. -GC AI should wait more to hack a super weapon. -GC AI for zann can now attack other planets. -GC AI is much more aggressive. -GC AI advances tech level much more often. -GC AI builds starbases past level 1 now. -GC AI can use heroes in land invasions. -GC AI can use fleet/field commanders in it's attack forces. -GC AI will use Han Solo's "Siphon Credits" ability. -GC AI should be able to use heroes (EX:Boba Fett, IG-88) to remove smugglers. -GC AI should be able to build the Death Star II now. -Space AI no longer sends fighters and corvettes randomly roaming around the map. -Changed Space targeting priorities: Bombers now target the biggest ships first. Fighters now go after bombers first. Corvettes target bombers then fighters. Frigates target other frigates and corvettes before fighters and bombers. Capital Ships target the biggest ships first and then smaller ones. SpaceArtillery targets capital ships first then fighters and bombers then everything else. Misc -Increased max camera distance in land battles to 600. (Was 460) -Altered scales of ground hero units. -Lowered scale of Destroyer Droid.

To-Do: -Re-activate Arena building. -Fix outstanding scaling issues (EX landing transports being smaller then the units they off-load). -Increase scout trooper sight range. -Fix any other imbalances. -Fix any other bugs i can.

How You Can Help:

I would like help on finding any issues and imbalances not covered in the above. But please make sure that your reason as to why the unit in question in imbalanced is well thought-out. Not just "THIS UNIT KILL MY STUFF/NO CANON!!! RAAAAAAGGGGG FIX! DO NOW!!!". Also please feel free to tell me if you feel that one of the changes above imbalances the unit.

Also i have no release date set for this mod's release so please don't ask me for one as my response will be "When it's done".

I do not see it as a patch, it is only other mod. It does not resolve the real problems from FOC.

Yeah this is more of a mod, but it sounds like a mod that patches things left out in FoC.

Honestly this isn't a patch, and it's dishonest to call it one. Sounds like an okay re-balance mod though.

well it seems like a mini pact that does not really get the big probloms out of the way but i find it very good if he knows how to reactivate everything

I didn't try to put anyones modding ability down. I mean this is a good re-balancing mod as Darth_Windu said.

Wow, 7 replies arguing whether or not it's a patch, or a mod. Pointless!!! This is a modding community, not a place to show how long you've been here by blasting a new user in his first post! Oneman, this is well thought out, but you did not address starship scaling. That would be my only suggestion.

Oneman, this is well thought out, but you did not address starship scaling. That would be my only suggestion.
