I was wondering if anyone with experiance in this would provide some insight on how the process is done, such as: 1: How to rigg or bone the infantry model for EAW and FOC? 2: How to record the infantry model for animation and setup the different poses needed for EAW and FOC? Any other questions out there from other people like me please post them so we can get a better idea on how to do this.
could you have posted this in the "Question Thread"? That's a thread devoted to important questions.
Well sure it could have but it would not get the attention I think it would get by having its own thread since it is specific to infantry rigging and animation.
true. sorry. do you have a mod?
yes look under my sig
Here is a helpful tutorial I've found on the internet.... 3D Studio Max tutorial - Rigging robotic joints As far as animations, check out Frenos animation tutorial on the Petroglyph sites Modders Tavern. The animations are done by moving the bones around, then moving to the next frame. All animations are back to back in the main animation. They are then separated, and named, in the Alamo tools interface. In the download section there is an unfinished Droideka model that has animations, use the Alamo tools to look at it.
