o.O; i believe you make your sounds and put it in the sounds folder ;).
I want to add new voices into the game but they never seem to work this is what i'm doing, first i find the files i want then stick them into audio/sfx (i've also tried audio/speech/english but no go) then i open up sfxeventsunitsground.xml and change/make the lines that include the new sound files (voices) i figure since all the sound files listed in sfxeventsunitsground.xml are .wav that my sound files should also be .wav, correct? once i do that i open up groundunitsinfantry.xml and change the sfx lines for the unit i wish to have the new voices i don't do anything in containers.xml and groundcompaniesrebel/empire.xml because the units i want to have the new voices are a squad of four but can also be selected individually thanks in advance everyone
You must have your sound files in .wav format, and put them in Gamedata\Data\Audio, always works for me like that.
Preset_UR Data\Audio\SFX\fire_at_will.wav No Yes It's an example from my mod. Put your sounds into GameDats\Data\Audio\SFX\. Wav's quality shouldn't be too good.
16 bit PCI Mono Wav. And its Gamedata\Data\Audio\SFX
Oh, and you need to put the thing kinda like this in the XMLs
Well then i guess its just how you call it up in the tag.
