Hi long time reader first time poster. There are a lot of mods floating around (primarily for EaW original which i find really weird). Anyway all these mods are huge (lets just add more units) type mods like ISD ISD2's etc really why the need? Its just uselessly doubling up. I'm really just looking for a mod that balances (in my opinion) the far too powerful effects of corruption and hopefully lets you play some balanced Single Player Galactic Conquest scenario's that were made and developed for EAW. The "unlocked" version of the original EAW Galaxy Divided GC for FOC is a bogus one as if you notice the Consortium starts at Tech lvl 3 whereas rebellion and empire start at 1. I'd try edit it myself but i can't it keeps complaining about binkw32.dll and various things missing from within it. Anyway where is a decent MOD taht leaves the FOC game otherwise unchanged rather than seeking to just add more units in, decreases the effects of corruptoin by perhaps raising its cost to equal what it costs to remove it? And lets you in on some decent Galactic Conquest scenario's that don't involve just porting over EAW GC scenario's that were never meant to be adapted to FOC. Because the GC scenario's that come with FOC are very poor. Been looking around but i can't really find anything and i see a lot of EAW stuff but nobody seems to be developing much for FOC...why?

People are still learning how to code for FOC, and there was a few GC maps like you where asking for made by grenade man.
I'm trying to balance the consortium, but I add a lot of other(unbalanced) stuff too. And balancing the consortium isn't my main goal.

coding for FOC is the exact same as in EAW, there's just some extra stuff in there but doesn't really hinder the process of modding the main reason IMO is probably that people like EAW better, the campaigns better, its more balanced, etc. nothing to do with modding i prefer FOC because the graphics are better, there's more open with the coding and when you make a mistake instead of just saying there's an error it tells you which file to look in also it'll be hard to find a mod that does what you asked because a gold mind was found for models and a lot of people are just itching to put them into their mod, my mod doesn't necessarily do what you ask but it also doesn't go over kill on the unit adding either (although that's also a matter of opinion)
it was subtle stuff, mainly the lighting but there were improvements, although if you usually have most stuff turned down for the settings or an older card that has trouble with dx 9.0c you cant really tell
