I was trying to figure out FOC modding so if the Full Game uses .megs for modding, also so that AOTOR:CW members would have the knowledge of what We(the Mod Team) has to do.. I configured a mod in .meg format. But i put it in and it gets the Starting Screen, the Black Background with the Title, Loading... etc.. then it goes back to the desktop. Could someone either fix it or tell me how to fix it. I am attaching it to this post.

i believe he already released the tools needed to mod Foc stuff to. its on PFF somewhere.

F*ck no. EaW used MEGs and you cna extract them. I REPEAT MYSELF: EXTRACT THE DAMN FILES. And you call yourself a modder. Sry for being offensive, but u should have known...

Droid he may have not come in during the moding dark ages when u had to extract the megs to get xmls. He might have come around when the map maker came out were they had all xml files extracted for you.

Heh? No, he was here before the Map Editor was released. I know ;) Anyhow, it seems the whole AOTOR:CW team had a confusion about FoC, so this is rather unescesscary (theres the same thread on PFF...by a different person on the team). As long as you understand its easier to extract the XMLs, you're fine off. Don't mess with megs! It makes your mod file HUGE.
