hmm well technically you not "editing" the model then using 3D-Max :) most Alo importers do not import bones on the model just the meshes, orientation Uving etc.

If you use max its because you used an Alo importer to import meshes from Obj or 3Ds format. You would have to completely re rig the model yourself.

Last ultimate unwrap3d versions import mesh, collision, shadow and hardpoints, only you can not import the alamo proxy bones.

Thats true, I forgot about that new version of 3Dwrap. I havent been able to test that one out yet but until now you could not import hardpoints.

To be honest I rather configure a model to my own like's rather than uses existing hardpoints that were designed to be used with another mod. Will take longer but at least you have the ship hardpoints exactly as you would like them.

Oh by the way the above mentioned software is NOT free and of course with kids being strapped for cash they might not be able to obtain that software,. Still leaves people in the same boat really unless their parents can buy it for them :)

Good I bought the pro version only because I lost many from my max files and with it I can import the 99% from my own work. But this tool now is very powerfull on EAW.

About 50$, it is not too money if you compare with 3Dmax. I bought first the SE version and I upgraded it to pro two weeks ago. And if you could to buy 3Dmax.........you should can to buy this.
