How do I change the # of units allowed at each landing zone on a planet? It sucks to bring a large invasion for only to find that I 90% of them have to wait in line for somebody in the front to get killed before they can even be used. I would think a planet is big enough for more than 3 groups of stormtroopers to land at once. Roger Bacon
Its in the Map, no known way to change it until Map Editor is out. You can use workaround which is to set stormtroopes to 0 pop count.
Thanks. Now I can stop my endless searching of XML files. Roger Bacon
Although I haven't tried editing it, I think it's these lines in Markers.XML Reinforcement_PointW_Pedistal_faction_1.alo1Reinforcement_PointW_Pedistal_faction_2.alo2Reinforcement_PointW_Pedistal_faction_3.alo3Reinforcement_PointW_Pedistal_faction_4.alo4Reinforcement_PointW_Pedistal_faction_5.alo5Reinforcement_PointW_Pedistal_faction_10.alo10
Wow...you found it! But how do you get them added in a map? It seems that you'll have to edit the specific ones, not change entries on the maps...unless you found the XMLs for maps too...
You edit the existing ones, then when the map loads it loads the edited marker with the new population cap in place of the old ones.
Yeah, so what I meant was that you couldn't change some +3 ones to +5 ones, but keep some of them +3. You would have to change all +3s to give 5. Not a very good system at all. Still, its an improvment. Thanks!
