Hello again, i was wandering if someone could tell me how to map, [please dont refer me to the master sticky, as it is very hard to understand.] mainly is there a thing i need to download? thanks in advance.

Well, the master sticky is about as easy as it gets. Also its, use search function first, then make a thread if you don't find your answer. DL the map editor from the files site and read the docs that came with it.

Star Wars: Empire at War Download Files, Download Star Wars: Empire at War Patches - FileFront.com After you download the map editor from filefront, it has a few good tutorials with pictures to help you get started. But here are a few tips, because everybodies first map usually has some of these errors.... 1. Put your map in Data\CustomMaps\ so it will show up in the game skirmish maps. 2. Don't use just one elevation. Make hills, valleys, canyons, etc. 3. Don't just use one texture, use sand or rock for paths, or under trees. Rock for cliff faces. Water, and sand for streams. Use snow, ice, or rock for mountains. 4. Make sure you place the neccesary faction items as explained in the tutorial. Hope this helps!

Alright, thanks i downloaded it, but it is very hard to work, one i cant get the terrian to go higher, two all the structures are faceing one way, but oh well

About the structure turning, just hold the Shift key and move your mouse pointer in circles around the object.
