well first off, only try this if have the patience and if you know how to mod. well what you have to do is: to add a units place its model and textures in the apropriate files, then copy and paste the code into whatever xml it needs to be in. then add an icon for the unit(s) using the mtd editor. i could get into more detail but thats the basic process. if i forgot anything sorry.

Anyway, it's gonna be hell of a lot work! I only added a few units to my CIS 4.2, and it was nerve-breaking work!

@CloneCommander you don't *need* anyones permission to use code, models, what ever from a mod if its for your own personal use ;) Just for your own use :) and as far as I can tell he wants to do this as a private mod.

That in itself can be a lot of work judging by the amount of mods you want to 'merge'. My own personal mod is over 700MB by the way..

If you feel comfortable about copying and pasting xml code and know your way around the EAW files and mod paths, then I dont see why not. Now see, your problem is going to be with projectiles and its code. Every mod - or most mods use their own unique projectile coding and projectile ALO and texture files.

You need to decide which ones you want to use in the game and discard and re code the rest to work with that particular texture file that makes the lasers and other things work in the game. Most mods have different ones - so you need to make sure you do these changes too.

Otherwise you wont see any lasers and what ever else in the game.
