i want bossk and ig 88 to hang with boba fett on the empire's side. how do i do this?

i want to try to do it on mobbman's acm mod. but if there is any bit of knowledge i received from these forums is not to mix mods.

im sure this or something else related has been posted before. but i can't seem to find these posts now.

thanks

I think it would be a simple matter of switching the faction loyalties in the respective xmls

hey man i actually just successfully did this yesterday. in the ACM mod i switched Guri from the Empire to the Consortium. heres what you need to do...

1) Under IG88 / Bossk's XML files, scroll down to the line titled "Affliation" and change the line so that it looks like this: Empire**Be sure to change the Affiliation of their respective ships as well (IG2000 and the Hound's Tooth).

2) Under Campaigns_Underworld_GC.XML scroll down to where they list "Starting Forces." There should be tons of these listed. Now add one in that says this: Empire, Byss, IG-88The logic behind this is that you will now be given control of IG88 and he will spawn on your planet instead of a Consortium one. It worked fine for me when I changed Guri, but for some reason I feel like I am forgetting something. Try this out and let me know if it works or doesn't work. Good luck!

Sorry I left some things out. When you do Step #2, double check that IG-88 is not also being spawned on a Consortium-controlled planet or else there will be 2 IG-88's in existence: one for the ZC and one for the Empire. If the ZC does have him spawning somewhere, simply delete the line... Also note that you will have to edit these lines for every campaign in which you want the Empire to have IG-88.
