Hello! Currently meddling with ground units and right now trying to give infantrymen (all) secondary grenade attack ability, with various grenades (concussion, frag, thermal detonators...). However, so far managed to make them just drop the grenade the same way scout speeders do. Any tips how to make them actually throw the grenade on target? Tried cloning the infiltrator grenade attack but that didn't work at all.
Well, if you're trying to get them to throw sticky bombs (such as the ones infiltrators and Kyle Katarn uses) then you're out of luck, since most units don't have the required animation to throw the grenade. However, if you're playing FoC it might be possible to use the Consortium grenadier unit as a template and work at it from that, but the grenades won't stick to targets then.
alternativly use the change weapon feature like bossk and have them use grenades like that.
If your using Forces of Corruption you should use the Swap Waepons Ability to do what you looking for,. It will work that way.
i have 2 units in foc additions ver 4 with grenade abilities, i used the bossk swap weapon ability, to change from standard weapon to throw grenades

You should try toying with Rocket ability, it functions 75% like the swap ability.
If you use the defiler/infilitrator code, you'll need to edit the anims. Or at least copy, paste and rename... Also, you'll need to find the right bones. Use the ALO viewer. Or you could just use swap weapons...
what 1upD said, heres some advice, if you want them to throw grenades, use the stickybomb code and make it only applicable to infantry. no animins will show when they throw though
