I'm trying to add new units to foc. there mainly indigenous units but i'm making them buildable for each team. for exaple, i tried to add wookies to the rebels. for some reason it didnt appear. i took the xml from indigenouscompanies and gave the wookie war party skirmish information.Then i took the wookie war party data and put it in rebel ground companies. Is there something i'm missing?:confused:
Do you have the affiliation in the xmls?

Don't forget to add an entry in SpecialStructures.xml, or it won't shw up as buildable.
Not trying to thread-jack here but what about space units? I want to have the Z-95 buildable(both games) for the Rebels how would I do that?

ok thanks oddslayer i think i already did that though. ig_11 i did that for gc but i don't think it doesnt appear in skirmish. thats what i'm try get done succesfully. i can't find a line that tells me what skirmish structure it can be built at. oh and i'll probably do space units to. but right now i'd like to get the indigenous species done first.
If it's for skirmish, you also need to code the starbase(or ground structure) to produce this unit. Look in special_structures.xml, this is from the Rebel ground barracks.... Rebel, Rebel_Infantry_Squad, Rebel_Tank_Buster_Squad, Field_Com_Rebel_Team, Rebel_Infiltrator_Team, RL_Combat_Armor_L1_Upgrade, RL_Combat_Armor_L2_Upgrade, RL_Weatherproof_Upgrade, Tactical_buildable_objects_multiplayer is for skirmish, you will also see Tactical_buildable_objects which is for GC, tactical missions.
