I didn't make it!

I have recently decided to start playing this game again and found a mod that I like (ACM). However I have discovered a problem, there are too many unit icons and They appear to be pushed on past the screen so I can't use them. I thought I had seen a news article on here or maybe a top mod of the week that made the icons smaller to fix this but my efforts to find such a mod have been in vain.

p.s. Sorry if this wasn't the proper section to put this in but I figured it fit the category of "info on a mod"

Thanks in advance.

Avarice. The reason you won't find a mod that makes the icons smaller or fits more on is simply because there isn't one thats been publically made and distributed. A primary reason for this is that the ingame GUI interface that you look at when you play is made up from a physical 3d mesh or model and much of its own code is hardcoded into the main EXE file for the game.

However, all is not lost. Members of "Alpha Blue Modding" (simply make a general search into google) have managed to creat a sort of 'work around' using the Galactic Conquest filter buttons (therefore this doesn't work in Skirmish that I've heard) so this might be the only real answer here unless the game source code is released at some point in the future.

Just a note... In the past, when I first tried to venture to the Alpha Blue site, I did just that very thing. The Google results gave me a website called "AlphaBlue.com" that was listed with no description that said what the site actually contained. I then discovered that said website was a "retro porn" site from the 70's. It would be helpful if you actually provided an official URL when directing people to your site so that those of us who would rather not venture to the world of 70's minage, can avoid it when possible. Just thought you may want to know...

To start this, I'm not going to touch reply #2...*shivers*

At any rate, I looked over their site and found the filter buttons that had been made though it appears that either no ground version, which is the one I was looking for, was ever made or is to be exclusive to an upcoming mod. Either way it's to much effort for which can be fixed by limiting my construction projects. At any rate thanks for your help.
