Is it possible to make a unit Immune to the Proton Beam Abilty?I've created a SSD and the proton beam has a very quick recharge time, so it basicly destroyer even Mon Cal Cruisers easily. But I need a counter unit, I could give it a huge amount of health but that would make battles without my SSD in it impossible to win.

The game already offers a counter unit: bombers. Bombers cant be hit by the Proton beam becuz they are 2 small. So you could use a squad of souped-up bombers as a counter-unit.

i dont know if this will work or not but you could paste this line into the ability area and type the name of the counter unit to replace the question marks ???

that should exclude it from being targeted by the proton beam but not the SSD

Valgarochi;3553268 ???

Did you just make that up?:uhoh: This is the right line: ??? It's for shooting though(specifically hardpoints, I think it will work with units), it might not work for abilities.

Nope, excluded_unit_types should work just fine, I seem to remember seeing it in some FoC base game coding a while ago.
