Hey, i thought lets make a imperial commando with jetpack and flamethrower, unfortunatly it went wrong, this si what i did: loaded stormtrooper, removed all exept the body with gun. then loaded boba and i converted to editable mesh, removed everything from the body mesh exept the jetpack, i added the jetpack to the stormtroopers body and then added the same bones as boba had to the skin modifier, now my problem is: the animations don't work. how can i fix this? the muzzle and flames stil do the right animation but the body not, the bones also still move right.

have you tried to edit the envelopes?

Did you try exporting it? Sometimes it won't show correctly in 3ds max, but in the ALO viewer it is good. Secondly, do check the envelops to make sure that the vertices move with the correct bones.

first, see tab what programms were open, see the alo viwer + i ahve no idea how make it animate in 3ds. yes i exported to alo and i did the envelops what are verticeS?
