Sith of Steel;5370021I never meant to say that it was impossible to trigger the attributes, I was more so referring to the idea that the Take Cover animation would trigger automatically upon entering certain areas.

I wasn't typing to you, Steel. Don't worry about it.

Kalo Shin;5369868If they were dud props, if they were I could understand your reasoning. Not only that, but there's other ways to do this. One way to do it is to look at the Repulsor Lift Jammer, IIRC there's a way to make it apply to well, anything. So you could put these in certain areas and slow units down. So if they go up hill they lose momentum. In addition, you could probably add the weather ability that slows vehicles down to it. Seeing as how you can add weather damage abilities to heroes (Like how Lava planets damage infantry).
You're probably right, I should check the XML before posting. I was sure they were dud props...
If the good ground area is made in map editor then it would be easy to make my idea work (somewhat). I looked through the original empire at war maps (none of the FOC maps seem to have good ground anymore, replaced by bunkers?) and there is no markers or anything in the good ground area. I think it is coded into a xml somewhere. I am probably wrong but I am still looking. I was wondering if anyone who knows how the good ground area works could please explain to how it works to me. Thanks

I guess I never thought about it, but I think you're right. I haven't seen good ground in a long time, just bunkers. I guess they're sort of the same concept, they provide protection for infantry. Anyway, I thought in the original Empire at War good ground was actually in the passability part of texture editing. There was water, impassable, impassable for aircraft, infantry only (in FoC) and I thought good ground was one of them. It could also be from the prop like Kalo said.

Oh I never thought about the passability code brush I will check it and post back here on my info. I don't think it would be a prop because I didn't see any but it might be invisible (probably is).

Does anyone know how to add a cursor variant to select the cover area. I haven't checked the xmls yet but I don't know if it would be coded in any or not. Thanks
