In the ssd_improved_v2, it says to install it into a gamedata/ Mods folder, but there is no mods folder in my gamedata folder. Do I have to make one? How? Also, do I have to use his startup code to use the mod, or how can I can the one I have to use it automatically? ANd how can if I have the official 1.04 patch installed? Thanks.

Anyone? I'm not really good with computers, so I can't really figure this out myself.

All you need to do is create a folder in your Data folder called "Mods" then you're all set to go.

Anything else after that, or can I just put in my disk and play?

Alirght, I put it in the Mods folder, and used the shortcut he made to open it. However, when I loaded a previous GC game, even though I'm tech level 5 (as the Empire), at neither Corusant or Kuat where I have level 5 space stations, do I have the optio to build an SSD. Did I do something wrong?

One of the first rules of playing mods, YOU DON'T PLAY OLD SAVES!!! Unless they are saves of that mod. You will need to start a new game in order for it to work.

How would I add the MODPATH thing to the regular shortcut so I don't have to keep opening my Mod folder shortcut?

move the shortcut to wherever you want it, right click on it, go to properties, then paste whatever the installation instructions should tell you into the box that says 'Target'
