So iv'e briefly seen how to do this on another forum, thought I would share it here unless its already been said somewhere. Anyway its a good thing to know.

So to start: 1. Go here and put your mod in the mod folder.

EaW - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\star wars empire at war\GameData\Mods

FoC - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\star wars empire at war\corruption\Mods

eg. \Mods\"specific mod name"\data

2. Launch steam, go to your library, right click on SW EAW Gold and click properties.

3. Click "Set Launch Options..."

4. Type in the box sweaw MODPATH=Mods\"specific mod folder name"

for example if I was installing Space Addon v3 onto FoC

sweaw MODPATH=Mods\EaW_FoC_Space_Addon

5. Launch FoC from Steam and the Mod of your choosing should be running on EaW or FoC (Whichever mod folder you put the mod in)

*Each time you want to play a different mod you have to change the mod folder name in Launch Options. *Don't forget that most mods are only compatible to EaW OR FoC

I had a bit of trouble finding a way to do this so I hope this helps someone. :)

A good guide, but your sample "Launch Options" line's a little off. It should look like this:

sweaw.exe MODPATH=Mods\EaW_FoC_Space_Addon

Or, for a FoC mod (I'll use, as an example, the one I'm in the process of making =p)

swfoc.exe MODPATH=Mods\PvM

Otherwise, not a bad guide =D

It should look like that yes, but it seems to also works the way that I have put it originally.

So yeah either way :P
