I am creating a new version of the ISD for the empire, and I would like to know is there any way to add new hardpoints or can I only change existing hardpoints?

You can only change existing hardpoints without a modeling program. If you actually want to add new hardpoints, try getting a modeling program like 3ds Max. Hope this helps.

Yes, you can add new hardpoints WITHOUT a modelling program. All you need is the ALO viewer at Mod-Tools | Petro-Gamers

Then, just add a hardpoint to the unit coding, and simply define the hardpoint attachment and fire bones in XML coding. Easy :)
